Jul 20 ∙ Director’s Update

Good morning,

I am very excited to announce that we have a new communication tool that we will be using this coming year.  We will use this app to communicate with all ensembles here at SHS. Please join our 'Statesboro Bands' group on BAND. https://band.us/n/aea63an855U9v  This app will allow me to quickly post uptodate information and for you to quickly ask any questions.  Please be sure to turn on notifications for new posts.  This app is only for current members and parents/guardians of current members. 

I am also working uploading practice tracks this week for this year’s halftime show.  These tracks will be uploaded to my Google Drive and the link will be shared on the BAND app.  The tracks will have count off clicks and your instrument part being played louder than the rest of the band parts.  I hope to have all these tracks completed by the end of the day tomorrow

I hope that all of you are enjoying your last few weeks of summer and are looking forward to making music together again.
